Kathryn Schulze is an Austin-based artist whose work explores the shared human experience. She works primarily in oil painting and block printing to step into something raw, real, and essential. Kathryn’s practice is a way of experiencing identity within the collective- a bridge between what is known and what is felt.

Inspired by the subtle and quiet moments of awe in her everyday life, she views her practice not in terms of creating something new, but rather honoring and experiencing more deeply what is already there. Kathryn hopes her art inspires personal reflection and a sense of connectivity capturing the essence of the deeper, interconnected current that we all belong to.
